Rendell Collera
Hey there! My name’s Rendell and I’m a passionate 2D animator and illustrator who likes to breathe life into drawings.
As a kid, I started off as a portrait artist using only pencils, or what ever else I could get my hands on, to draw. I later on pursued Digital Art, and was greatly inspired by the capabilities of what a graphic tablet could create.
In high school, I tried out Animation. I started out making simple computer animation through Flash and began further challenging myself in the making of an animation film called "The Flying Machine".
I find it both fascinating and invigorating, breathing life into my drawings- with this growing passion of mine, I have been driven to learn more. I decided to pursue 2D Animation at the Vancouver Institute of Media Arts (VanArts) to be trained by experienced professionals and meet wonderful people. In 2023, I graduated from VanArts as a more confident animator.
I am currently working as a freelancer.
